Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat - 40th Anniversary Performance. March 18 to 20
18th March 2010 at 7:30 PM Dear Old Roffensian,
Hi, and thanks for reading this email. My name is Rebecca Gore and I’m a pupil at King’s School, Rochester. 40 years ago our school staged “Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” and the School was lucky enough to have both Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber come and produce it. We’re planning on celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Show by putting on 3 charity performances of “Joseph” in 18 – 20 March, with any profits going to The Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign for Children.
We’re expecting to sell about 900 tickets, and so I’m hoping that you’ll be interested in placing an advert for your company in the Souvenir Programme we are producing. This brochure will be a very glossy, West-end style programme, which will be distributed at all 3 evening performances. As King’s is a close-knit community, with many pupils attending from the age of 3-18, we hope this means that the parents and their friends will associate your company with supporting the Show, King’s School & our charity fundraising.
I do hope that you will be able to help us out, as we want the Show to look as good as possible, and this takes quite a lot of money. We are all putting in a lot of time and effort into the production, and I hope that you will consider placing an advert in our special programme. I have attached a leaflet about the Show, and you can always email me if you need any more details.
I really look forward to hearing from you.
Rebecca
